A series of suspected suicide bomber attacks targeting a wedding, funeral, and hospital in Nigeria's Borno state killed at least 18.

At least 18 people were killed and 30 injured in a series of attacks by suspected female suicide bombers in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state on Saturday (local time), according to the head of the state's emergency management agency.

The attacks, targeting a wedding, funeral, and hospital in the town of Gwoza, come amidst a long-running Islamist insurgency in the region.
